Great contest - I'm in favor of anything that will add to the popularity and strength of independent 140.6 races. Did Full Vineman earlier this year and loved the whole NON-WTC thing!
Here's to hoping I win one of the entries! |

Now there's a great idea! Of course I had to recreate my profile for the third time now since my first race here in 2003... :-) The new course maps look very interesting, maybe the bike won't kill my legs this year! I'll be out in Clermont doing short laps this weekend, starting at Waterfront Park and heading out for loops skipping Cherry Lake and SR19. 3 loops up Rt 27 to Buckhill and then doing the rest of the official route should hurt enough! Hope to see some fellow Tribe out there piling on stones! |

Did the 2005 GFT as my first IM distance and loved it.
Would definitely do again.
Good luck everyone. |

I did GFT in 2002. Great race, although the swim was short and the bike long that year. The same for everyone though! |

Sounds like a great way to get more folks to compete. I did the iron distance in 2004 and due to hurricanes and the effect of the interruption in training, I completed the race but was slower than I was hoping for. To be able to win an entry and participate agains would be great!!!! |
