  • KAR Great Floridian Triathlon Hey everybody, Still really hot in South Florida. Hitting 90 degrees every day with about 70 percent humidity. We'd better start cooling down real quick if we're going to be wetsuit leagl. I'm bringing the blubber anyway. Odds are in our favor. This Saturday will be the last LONG ride. Going for a 110/8 brick. Last test for the nutrition plan. Then...taper time!! Can't wait to get to Clermont! Hope everyones training is going well.

  • TriMark Rich Rich, first, sorry that you will not be able to prove to yourself that you were tough enough to finish the Great Floridian. Stay safe while training for the 2012 GFT. If you visit imATHLETE.com and log in using the same email address you signed up for the Great Floridian with, you can cancel your entry and you will receive a discount code for 50% of the entry fee that you paid to enter the Great Floridian. That code is good for one year from the date of issue and can be used towards payment for any Sommer Sports owned event on imATHLETE.com. Mark

  • Rich I fell on my bike and hurt my Rt. wrist. So I will not be able to do the race because I have to wear a brace on my wrist for six weeks. So I have an ultra entree for sale for $295.00 if anyone is interested you can contact me at rich.losek@wmfr.org.

  • hans The GFT Tribe Killer ride today in WI. 114 miles of hills, Fond du Lac to Milwaukee round trip. Major bonk when I ran out of fluids at 80 miles with nothing but corn fields and cows in sight. Got fluids at 95 miles and hammered home. Final gps verified speed.... 20.8 mph. I'm toast. No way I could run a marathon after that! Anyone else suffering?
